Phonicks is a unique education opportunity in the ‘Early Childhood Education’ that teaches 4 to 6 year olds how to ‘read’ in English using sounds. Phonics is a methodology (42 sounds) used by developed countries to encourage children to read and communicate in their early years compared to writing and rote learning that Indian schools practice. Phonickids practices Jolly Phonics methodology from Jolly Learning of the UK. Apart from Phonics other courses included in the Franchise Program are Grammar and Advanced Readers.

Reading acquired during this stage enhances the child’s ability to grasp and assimilate knowledge much faster, a skill essential to excel in academics later on in life.

Phonickids was the first institution in India that started offering courses primarily on practicing the Phonics technique.

Phonics, although is part of the curriculum of a few public and private schools in India, is not taught correctly and hence majority of kids continue to develop their reading habits much later.
